Ever since Lee had decided to go "dating free" things had been so much less complicated in his life. For once, he felt no pressure to be in a relationship all the time, girls could just be friends without him having any obligations to just one girl. He was not a player, but he just didn't feel like being committed to anyone right now... he would save that for later. Marriage was too far down the road for him to even want to think about it, so for now, he was going dating free for a while.

Several weeks after his decision, Lee found himself at a friend's celebratory party... he had gotten some award for a poem or video or something, Lee wasn't really sure. Actually, he wasn't even sure why he had been invited. He barely knew the guest of honor enough to remember his name. Oh well, a party's a party right? Lee nonchalantly glanced around the room taking in the surroundings when suddenly something, or rather someone caught his eye. His heart stopped for a full minute, and he thought he was about to have a heart attack when he remembered to breathe.

Seconds later Lee was by the woman's side, she was one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen. She was a good deal shorter than him, but what she lacked in height she definitely made up for in looks... and her smile. In moments Lee completely forgot his dating free vow, and was casually chatting with the young woman. His heart felt lighter and warmer than it had ever felt in his entire life... Lee felt like he was about to float off the floor while speaking with her. However, he managed to keep his composer and by the end of the evening had asked her to dinner the following weekend. She accepted.

As they were all being ushered out the door, Lee turned to her and gave her a quick embrace. Her soft sent wafted around him, making him grin. Everything about her was amazing, it was as though she had been made to fit perfectly with himself. This must be true love, it had to be. By the end of their date the second night, Lee had already decided that this would be the woman he married. He was already completely in love with her. So much for a dating free life.
