Me and Steven started dating when i was 16.. and he had just turned 16.

We met via out friends. my friend was dating his sister. as soon as we met i loved the look of his big arms and shoulders, he was almost 6ft5 and big built. i instantly thought how I'd love him to embrace me in his arms.. it wasn't about how we looked physically though, it was bout our personalities, he loved everything i loved, he made me laugh so much, it really won me over, and he was so nice. i knew he was my true love within a few days of dating him.

After a few months of talking he finally asked me out on December the 1st 2001 at a Christmas dance. That's when we started dating and from that day i was complete.

We spoke for hours on the phone at night after that night until we saw each other again 3 days later.. and during those conversations we told each other that we loved each other. on the 4Th of December i travelled the 60 mile journey to visit him again.. we went out to the town and took a train ride to Windsor.. we spent the whole day together but we still hadn't had that first kiss.. even though we had both said we loved each other.

Then finally.. after spending around 8 hours together on our second date. we ended up sat outside this mcdonalds.. on a bench.. it was dark.. about 10pm.. and all of a sudden he asked "can i kiss you?" and i said "yeah" and we kissed.. i knew i could caress his lips all night.

And from that day forward we have been together, its now November 3rd 2009 and we are happily married, have been for 3 years.. yes we've had our ups and Downs.. mostly ups as we never hardly argue. he is my best friend and i still love him as much as i did that day outside the McDonald's, in-fact i probably love him more since I've seen what an amazing father he has been to our 2 year old son who looks just like him.

Sometimes i just wander how life as gone so amazing for me and do i really deserve all this happiness? i just pray we remain this happy for the next 60 years and make lots more healthy babies that look just like him.
