In my home country I wanted my life to stay dating free. Some of my female friends had boyfriends and they weren't able to go off travelling on their own. Some of my female friends had ended up pregnant and then become single mothers. I taught English as a Foreign Language from May to October in England and then I travelled to different countries in the winter. It was at times difficult to remain dating free.

Every now and then I had a one night stand. That way I could have some fun with no strings whatsoever. I went to a night club on Saturday evening and picked up a different guy once a month from May to October. My lifestyle was so exciting even though it was dating free.

I had explained to my best friend, Elaine, about how I wanted to stay dating free. However the guy that I had experienced a one night stand with was one of Elaine's colleagues from work. His name was Tom and he had wanted to have me as a girlfriend. It had just been a brief encounter for me and the sex had been excellent.

He knew that I worked at the Hello There Language School. He was waiting for me when I came outside on Thursday afternoon. He told me that he had fallen in love with me. He explained that he wanted me to be his girlfriend. I told him that I was off to the Philippines for some island hopping and snorkeling on 31st October. He asked when I would be coming home from my holiday and I had said 30th April. He had looked really upset. I had kissed his lips gently and walked away.

So on 31st October I flew off to Cebu via Bangkok. The beaches had gently waving palm trees and white sand. I loved swimming in the crystal clear ocean. I did much snorkeling. However I began to feel really tired and sickly each morning. My period didn't arrive and I was so worried that I might be pregnant. I went to see a doctor in Cebu and he did a pregnancy test. He gave me a due date of 14th June 2005. I told him I was upset that I was pregnant and he explained that abortion was illegal in the Philippines. I went to a Internet cafe and went on to Face Book. I sent a message to Elaine telling her that I was pregnant.

I went to a travel agent and managed to get a flight back to the UK. It was from Cebu to London via Singapore. I had arrived really tired and Elaine was there waiting for me. She managed to talk me out of having an abortion. She had told me that the fetus inside me was an innocent one that deserved to live.

Elaine went to work the next day and she must have told Tom that I was back home. He rushed over to her house where I was resting up after my long journey. I told him that I was pregnant and that I didn't know who the father was. Tom had told me it didn't matter. He said that he was over heals in love with me. He asked me to move in with him and become a happy little family.

On June 4th 2005 my baby girl was born. Tom was so lovely and caring towards us both. I got pregnant again in September 2008, that time with his baby. I had a baby boy on 17th June 2009. I miss my travelling but I am with a really loving man and I adore my two kids.
